Why I Built RadarFlow

Across 30 years of radar work — at sensor companies, with customers integrating radars into their products, mentoring teams getting started with new hardware — I kept seeing the same pattern. Engineers would get a dev kit and spend weeks just getting to a first range-Doppler map.

Half the time the sensor itself wasn’t configured correctly — waveform parameters, timing, gain settings — because radar setup takes domain knowledge most teams are still building. And radar signal processing isn’t like audio or image signal processing: the concepts transfer, but the specifics trip up even experienced engineers coming from other domains. Even once the algorithms worked, teams still had to build the real-time infrastructure to capture and process data reliably.

And without traceable data early on, you can’t make a defensible product decision. RadarFlow Studio handles sensor configuration, provides radar signal-processing blocks, and captures repeatable validation data — so teams can focus on the actual sensing problem instead of the infrastructure around it.
